Our family histories are rooted in the vineyards of Chianti Classico
Le Bambole, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2015 - A winning combination of sweet, voluptuous fruit and warming, nutty toast characters; mouthfilling and round with crunchy ripe tannins.
Decanter, 2020
This small Panzano-based property is one to watch. After taking over from her grandfather and father in 2008, Monia Piccini and Franco Guarducci are slowly transforming and expanding the vineyards, most of which lie in the highly touted Conca D'Oro zone. Pretty and pure aromas of forest berries, cherry blossom and spice are joined by ripe raspberry on the palate. Plush fruit is well-balanced with vibrant acid and long, fine tannins. There's plenty of definition in this elegantly constructed gem. Drinking window 2019 -2017
- Michaela Morris, Decanter 2019
Dark fruit combined with tar, polish and black olive on the nose. A very richly compact and concentrated palate with refined, oak-coated tannins. A super-smart, sophisticated style that is slick, round, satisfying and deeply concentrated.
Susan Hulme MW, Decanter 2018
